Description:
This is another project using the format from Michelle Dunn's "Cooking- Piles of Leaves". This uses a "Witches' Stew" activity from Pinterest as the base for the wording on each page. I print this and cut off the bottom cards leaving the rest of the page to be added to the other pages for a book. The cards are cut up individually and numbered on the back so it is easier to know which four cards go with each page. We made the 'stew' with items suggested on the Pinterest activity with some of our own additions. I allowed each student to make their own book and when we made it as a group we just added whatever each student needed to correspond with their book. Fall M&M's were eyes, chow mein noodles were tails, marshmallows were ghost eyes, pretzel sticks were whiskers, triangle crackers were wings (we found some cinnamon triangle triscuit crackers), bugles were fingernails and raisins were dried bugs.
