Description:
Students create a "story" about their upcoming winter holiday using picture symbols on various popup boards. Text and symbols go into the message display and create a narrative. Christmas, Hanukkah, winter solstice, and Kwanzaa are represented in this activity. Click on the message display to hear the story read out loud. Stories can be saved and/or printed so students can take them home to share with their families. Open the MAIN board to begin the activity. (May need to make pronunciation change in your BM for Kwanzaa).
